The South East of the US has been experiencing great demographic change for decades now, and the legal markets of these states have adapted accordingly. Florida is seeing some of the fastest population growth in the country, and more and more firms are moving into this growing market. Some of the hottest practice areas in the Sunshine State include real estate and hospitality, finance, construction, international trade, transport, insurance, healthcare, life sciences and tech. Many of the firms here service the lucrative Latin America market, often also boasting offices in Central or South America.
Atlanta is the center of Georgia legal market, and hosts several large homegrown firms as well as offices from those based across the country. Infrastructure, banking, real estate and energy are all big news here.
